Don Valley Brickworks North Entrance Construction
On October 3, 2016 the City of Toronto and Toronto Region Conservation Authority will be starting construction on the Dion Valley Brick Works North Entrance Construction. Work is expected to last until the end of 2016.
This project has been planned by the City for sometime and a direct link to a dedicated project webpage can be found here. Here has been limited consultation with area Resident Associations. This project is part of the ongoing improvement in access alternatives into the Brick Works. The Don Valley Brick Works Park website (www.toronto.ca/brickworks) also has a link to the project page and is the easiest website to share with those looking for information. Construction signage will also be posted on-site. If the hyperlink above does not take you to the information web site, please try this link instead.
During construction, the city will make every effort to maintain a pleasant visitor experience at Don Valley Brick Works Park and the Belt Line Trail, although visitors may experience some constriction or temporary closures during certain phases of construction. Please respect all trail closures during and after construction. Construction vehicles may be encountered travelling to and from the construction area. Please be aware of these vehicles and respect the direction of workers. All official entrances to the park from the Belt Line Trail will remain open throughout construction.
If there are any additional questions regarding the project which cannot be answered by the website, please direct inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org or 3-1-1
