NRRA Live! Click here to see your property

Welcome to the NRRA Live! Heritage website. Effective September 12, 2005, North Rosedale is a Heritage Conservation District (HCD).

This portal accesses historical information and photographs of each of the 917 residential properties in North Rosedale. This historical research has been collected over thousands of hours by countless numbers of neighbourhood volunteers, to form the foundation for the North Rosedale Heritage study. The Heritage study has found that North Rosedale's streetscapes, bounded on three sides by ravines still in their natural state, have significant, unique, heritage or historical value, with 51% of the homes rated as having historical buildings. Few Toronto neighborhoods have such a rich architectural variety of homes, built by renowned architects, using classic styles, many of which have been and continue to be home to historically significant Canadians.

For the Ontario Municipal Board ruling on North Rosedale's HCD please refer to the web site -->> http://www.omb.gov.on.ca/e%2Ddecisions/pl041195%5F%232387.pdf

This portal accesses historical information on each North Rosedale residential property, including when it was built, Heritage rating, architect, early occupants and by street. This information was collected from the City of Toronto Directories and archives. Data has not been collected for homes built post 1967, except where there has been notable architecture.
